From Kindergarten to Year 6, Hazelbrookprovides a balanced curriculum for its students - academic,aesthetic, musical, technological and adventure activities challengethe students to reach new heights of endeavour.

The school encourages its students to achievetheir best in all areas of development - emotional, social, physical,moral, spiritual and intellectual. From the early years ofKindergarten to the senior primary grades, students are nutured asmembers of a caring and learning community, characterised bysupportive relationships amongst children, parents andstaff.

The curriculum throughout the school aims todevelop in students a pride in scholarship and love of learning.Curricula, prepared by the Board of Studies and endorsed by theDepartment of School Education are grouped in the six Key Learningareas :- English; Mathematics; Science and Technology, Human Societyand its Environment including Languages Other Than English; Creativeand Practical Arts; Personal Development, Health and PhysicalEducation.

Students of various abilities and of differinglearning styles are catered for through skilled teachingstrategies. Students benefit from thepersonal attention of a qualified and dedicated teaching andancillary staff. Students have opportunities to participate in avariety of excursions and field trips.

Our classroom planning, teaching, assessmentand reporting focus on the results of student learning.

We seek to develop self-directed life-longlearners capable of creating a future for themselves in a rapidlychanging world.
